Management
You can become involved in helping to run the Village Hall in two ways; either as a Trustee or as a Volunteer.
Either way, you will be very welcome!
Trustees
The Village Hall is a charitable organisation, run by a team of Trustees who meet bi-monthly. At our meetings we discuss the management of the Hall’s finances, issues to do with the day-to-day running of the building and make plans for future fund raising events.
Under the rules of the Charity Commissioners no Trustee can be held personally liable for any issues concerning the Village Hall. The Hall’s Insurance cover is currently £500k.
As a Trustee you should live locally, be prepared to attend meetings and take part in the running of the Hall. You will be able to make your views known and be part of the decision making team.
We are always looking to welcome new Trustees, so if you would like to become involved please get in touch.
