Hire Rates

Special rates for Brampton Abbotts Community Groups. All other users will be required to pay the standard hire rates.

All hirings include lighting and heating.

Bookings above 1hr include a complimentary 15 minutes either side of your booking for setting up and clearing away (excludes Special Event Package).

The Village Hall must be fully vacated (both Hall and Grounds) by 11.30pm. Any variation on this to be discussed at the time of booking.

Hire Terms & Conditions

 

On booking the Hall you must be prepared to comply with our Full Hire Terms & Conditions.

This is for the safety and general benefit of all users of the building.

 

Hire Terms & Conditions – ‘Key Points’

1. Depending on the nature of your booking, a returnable security deposit may be requested in advance

2. Comply with the Full Hire Terms & Conditions for the use of the Village Hall

3. The security deposit will be refunded in full provided that no damage is done to the Hall, grounds and facilities, and the Village Hall and grounds are left clean and tidy

4. Return the key to its designated location

5. Supervision of the use of the building and grounds and the care of its fabric and contents

6. Ensure that any equipment or electrical appliances brought onto the premises are safe and in good working order

7. No animals, except assistance dogs, in the building or grounds

8. Do not bringing Barbeques, LPG appliances or highly flammable substances on to the premises without written permission of the trustees

9. Keep noise to a minimum. Complaints by our neighbours may lead to your security deposit being forfeited

10. No large equipment such as staging, bouncy castle (Hall – maximum ceiling height 3 metres), catering equipment, tables or other shall be bought onto the premises without prior consent of the Trustees; any such equipment will then be at the hirer’s risk should any damage or accident occur arising from said equipment and should be checked by the hirer to ensure that damage is not likely to be caused to the fabric of the premises, carpark or grounds, particularly the Hall floor. The hirer should also check that the equipment is insured to cover damage to the premises or injury to persons using the premises.

11. Be fully familiar with the Fire Regulations & Emergency Procedures

13. No smoking on the premises

14. Ensure that the event complies with the relevant licences

15. Leave the premises clean and tidy

16. All rubbish to be placed in the rubbish and recycling bins at the end of the hire

17. Return all equipment, chairs and tables to their storage positions safely, ensuring that the premises are cleared of people, switch off all lights and heating, and lock up

18. For an evening event, fully vacate the building and grounds by 11.30pm. Any variation on this to be discuss at the time of booking.
